Worm Composting Bin
Are you looking for a fun way to turn your garbage into gardener’s gold? Do you want a pet that doesn’t bark, scratch or need a sitter while you’re away? Worm composting may be just the thing. Metro Natural Gardening Expert Carl Grimm showed us how to set up a worm bin and use the compost as an all-organic fertilizer:
It’s as easy as 1-2-3-4!
• Get some worms from a compost pile or nursery.
• Set up your bin – a plastic or wooden box.
• Feed and maintain your bin – it’s not rocket science.
• Harvest and use your worm compost as an organic fertilizer when it looks like dirt.
