Design Challenge content

KATU's AM Northwest has teamed up with, Fabric Depot, The Art Institute of Portland, and Montavilla Sewing Centers are proud to present the AM Northwest Design Challenge, a dynamic fashion design contest running through February 2012.

Each Monday at 9 a.m. on AM Northwest, four talented fashion designers from The Art Institute of Portland will join American Sewing Guild 2008 Hall of Fame Honoree, Pati Palmer to discover their  AM Northwest Design Challenge of the week. The designers return to AM Northwest the following Friday to unveil their creations in front of a notable panel of judges, including Portland Monthly Magazine Style Editor, Eden Dawn, Fashion Director of Q6 Model & Artist Management, Jonny Schultz, and Pati Palmer of Palmer/Pletsch. The judging panel will be rounded out by one guest judge each week.

What will each of these contestants win? Check out the prizes!  The best part is that you (the viewer) will get to vote for the popular vote beginning Friday January 27th after AM NW.  Be sure to cast your vote!
