Our mission on Wednesday was to go crabbing, something we've never done before.

We really had no idea what we were doing - we just figured it out as we went along.  And lo and behold, we ended up with a bounty of Dungeness crab and one fantastic crab feast for dinner!  You can read the story here.

So what's on tap for Thursday?  Well, hubby took off in the vehicle for a little golfing excursion and I'm at camp.  I think I'll take a nice, long stroll through Nehalem Bay State Park with the camera and see what I can find.

And by the way - the weather is absolutely beautiful over here on the coast.  We really got lucky this week - we've had lots of sunshine and it's been nice and warm, for the most part.  So much for all those sweatshirts and jackets I packed for the trip.
