New England blizzard, as seen in time lapse videos

On Friday, we showed what 30 inches of snow in a day might look like, using a 2010 storm in D.C. for reference.
Now that the blizzard has come and gone in New England, we have some actual -- and pretty incredible -- time lapse videos of the storm's accumulations. Most areas shown had between 20-30 inches.
Monday Update:
Just got alerted to this amazing video via Twitter (@nsj) of someone who filmed what happened when you project a movie onto the snowflakes. Very serene!
If you're watching this in metro Portland and you wanna see it snow like that, head up to Mt. Hood the next time we get a winter storm here. It'll rain like crazy in the valley, and then you can see all the snowfall that you want!
I'm definitely glad we don't get that kinda weather here. It's great to look at the videos. That's good enough for me
It's so unfair!! It'd be nice if Portland OR could get a blizzard once in awhile.Â
My favorite is the third one down. Having the actual time as well as a height marker made all the difference in really believing how much snow was dumped.Â
I have been TOTALLY envious since hearing they were getting 2 to 3 feet of snow..

These things are always more pleaseant to watch than experience.
@jpk I agree. I've lived in snow country (WI, MN, WY) and I'm all through with the stuff. Shoveling snow before going to work in the AM I don't miss a bit ........ nor does my back. Ugh. Fixing a car in a dripping theatre of melting ice, salt and street sewage isn't missed either. Sure is fun to watch from my chair in my warm room.
Me too!
Dang, I would LOVE to see that much snow!!!!!!
