CLARK COUNTY, Wash. – A massive fire destroyed a house Tuesday night.
Fire crews say the flames destroyed a 2,700 square foot home near Northeast 179th and 122nd Avenue in rural Clark County.
Crews had a difficult time getting to the fire because of the home’s long and narrow driveway.
According to fire officials, the family had been cooking with oil on the stove, went to visit relatives and left the stove on.
No one was inside at the time of the fire. As of Wednesday morning, fire officials were still working to get ahold of the homeowners.
Correction: The house was 2,700 square feet, not 4,000 as previously reported.
