BEAVERTON, Ore. – A 35-year-old Beaverton man died Monday when he crashed his motorcycle into a car and was struck by a second car after he was thrown off his bike, police said.

The crash happened on Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard at Huntington Avenue around 8:30 a.m.

The driver was identified as Adam Jarman. Police said he died at the scene.

Investigators said Jarman was attempting to pass a car in the right lane when he struck a vehicle in the left lane waiting to turn onto Huntington Avenue. The crash threw Jarman off his motorcycle. He landed in the right lane, where police said he was struck by another car.

Police say Cedar Hills Boulevard will be closed at Huntington Avenue for several more hours.
