Police search for masked man who robbed Beaverton deli

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Police said an armed man wearing a bandana over his face robbed a Dotty’s Deli in Beaverton early Tuesday morning.

It happened at the deli located at 2654 SW Cedar Hills Blvd. at around 2 a.m., according to police. The employee told officers he was smoking a cigarette outside when a man wearing dark clothing approached him and pressed a gun into his back, ordering him back inside the deli.

The suspect took money from the cash register and ran away. He is described as a man with dark skin and a Hispanic accent. Police said he is 5’8’’ tall with a thin build.
