PORTLAND, Ore. - A large tree branch snapped and fell in northwest Portland Friday morning, taking power lines with it and crushing cars that were parked on the road.

The branch came down at Northwest 21st and Irving, just outside the Gypsy Restaurant & Lounge.

At least one building in the area was without power. No one was hurt.

A tree also came down at Northwest Skyline and Elliott, blocking part of the road. No one was hurt in that incident either.
