Woman robbed at knife point after stranger asks her for a ride

CLACKAMAS, Ore. - A woman was robbed at knife point at a local Fred Meyer parking lot Friday night.

The crime happened just before 11 p.m. at the Fred Meyer at 16301 S.E. 82nd Drive in Clackamas.

According to police, a woman was approached in the parking lot by another woman who said she needed a ride. The victim let the woman inside her car and while asking her where she wanted to go, a man got in the car. He then flashed a knife at the victim and demanded she hand over her purse.

After getting what they wanted, the two thieves were picked up by a vehicle described only as a green sedan. The victim was unharmed.

  • About 25 years old
  • 5 feet, 5 inches tall
  • 125 to 130 pounds
  • Blondish hair
  • Was wearing blue jeans and a gray jacket

Suspect #2

  • White male
  • 5 feet, 10 inches tall
  • Skinny build
  • Was wearing a dark hooded jacket and jeans
