PORTLAND, Ore. - Police are on the lookout for a 78-year-old man who went missing a few days ago.

Richard Deborde disappeared Monday evening after leaving his foster home in the 13400 block of Northeast Halsey Street.

Although he is his own legal guardian and is free to come and go as he likes, he does have a medical condition that if left untreated could put him in danger.

Deborde was last spotted in the early morning hours of June 5 in the 3200 block of Southeast Holgate Street where he used to live. No one has seen him since.

Police believe Deborde is on foot. He's a white male about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs around 140 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what clothing he was wearing.

If you see him, police ask that you not approach him but instead call 911. Anyone with additional information that can help investigators is asked to call Detective Mike Weinstein with the Missing Persons Unit at (503) 823-0446.
