PORTLAND, Ore. - A young man who shot and killed a woman and her son  will be spending at least 35 years in prison.

William Cole McCamman, 21, pleaded guilty this week to two counts of murder with a firearm. He received two life sentences and will not be eligible for parole for at least 35 years.

McCamman shot and killed 32-year-old Josh Smith and his mother, 54-year-old Tamara Smith, in May of 2012.

The shooting, which happened at a home at Southeast 136th and Harold Street, reportedly stemmed from an argument over a SIM card from a cell phone.
