GRESHAM, Ore. – Police arrested a 25-year-old man Tuesday night in connection to a kidnapping of a developmentally disabled man.

Christopher Dante Andrews is the fourth person police have arrested in the case. They say more arrests are possible.

Police rescued 34-year-old Michael Daugherty last Friday from an apartment in the 700 block of Southwest 193rd Avenue where they said he was being held against his will for two days. Police allege the suspects accessed his bank account and stole money while holding him captive.

Police have already arrested Christopher Tonlentino, Whitney Engstrom, and Ashley Adams. They all face charges that include robbery and kidnapping. All three made their first court appearances Tuesday.

Police said Andrews was arrested just before 7:30 p.m. at 162nd and Southeast Main after a traffic stop. He will be booked into the Multnomah County Jail on charges related to the case. Police did not specify the charges.
