GRESHAM, Ore. - Police arrested a third person accused of holding a man captive in an apartment in Gresham.

Police arrested Ashley Adams on Saturday. They believe Adams, Christopher Tolentino, and Whitney Englstrom held Michael Daugherty captive in an apartment on the 700 block of Southeast 193rd Avenue. The three suspects face kidnapping, robbery and theft charges.

Investigators say the trio accessed Daugherty's bank account and stole money while holding him captive. Someone had reported the developmentally delayed man missing to Portland police last week. Officers found him on Friday, calling out the SWAT team since they feared one of the suspects was armed.

Gresham police say the investigation is ongoing and there could be more arrests.
