KELSO, Wash. — Police arrested a suspect in a shooting that left a man with life-threatening injuries in Kelso.

The victim was able to call 911 Sunday night and say he had been shot at his home. Travis W. Russell was found on his porch and taken to a hospital.

Police said Russell had "at least one gunshot wound."

With the help of Cowlitz County sheriff's deputies, police arrested 40-year-old Bud R. Flowers at his home in Kelso and took him to the Cowlitz County Jail.

Police did not release a motive for the shooting.
