Police: Man shot several times in Longview

LONGVIEW, Wash. – A man was shot several times in the legs in Longview early Saturday morning, police said.

Officers were called to the 1900 block of 33rd Avenue after a report of multiple gunshots, according to Sgt. John Reeves. Witnesses said they heard between two and six shots fired.

While officers arrived at the scene, police dispatchers told them they received a call from a man who said he was the gunshot victim and he was on his way to a hospital.

The victim, whose name was not released, was shot several times in his legs, Reeves said. His condition is unknown.

Police said the suspects drove away from the scene.

No other details were released.
