MILWAUKIE, Ore. – A driver who was speeding and talking to someone in his car crashed into a Milwaukie home early Saturday morning, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office said.

No one was hurt. The homeowner was in another part of the house during the crash.

Sheriff’s deputies and firefighters responded to the crash near the 17000 block of Shadybrook Drive just after midnight.

The driver, 21-year-old James Lee of Oregon City, was driving a Chrysler 300 at a high speed on Shadybrook Drive when the car crashed through the house, according to Sgt. Robert Wurpes. Lee told deputies that he was speeding and talking to a passenger before the crash.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, Wurpes said. Deputies cited Lee for careless driving.
