Update: Police said that Gabriel Kearns was found safe. The police bureau and his family thanked the public for their help in this case.
PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland police are looking for 17-year-old boy who left his home Thursday morning and hasn’t been seen since.
Police think Gabriel Artoum Kearns might be in danger because of some prior medical problems. Officers are asking for the public’s help to find him.
Kearns left his home in Northeast Portland’s Irvington neighborhood around 10:45 a.m. without saying anything to his family, according to police spokesman Sgt. Pete Simpson.
He is familiar with the bus system and does not attend school, Simpson said.
Kearns is 5 feet 6 inches tall with short blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a bright purple and green Nike running jacket, blue jeans and blue Nike shoes.
