PORTLAND, Ore. - A suspicious vehicle in north Portland put police on high alert on Tuesday - so much so that they called in a bomb squad to check it out.
The incident was centered in the 9900 block of North Burgard Way.
According to the Portland Police Bureau, the vehicle was parked about 70 feet away from a commercial propane tank at a business.
Both warehouses on either side of the vehicle were evacuated and traffic was blocked for a time on North Burgard Way.
Police later cleared the scene after the bomb squad determined there was no danger.
