SALEM, Ore. – Marion County sheriff’s deputies and their K-9s chased down two men accused of assaulting a bouncer during a fight at a Salem strip club Monday night.

Several 911 callers reported that three men who were refused service in the strip club because they were being too loud began fighting with a bouncer, and the fight moved outside to the parking lot.

Deputies said they arrived at the Firehouse Cabaret just before midnight Tuesday and saw a car with three men inside speeding away. They followed the car into a field where two of the men ran from the car.

More deputies arrived with their K-9s, Rolo and Yo, and tracked one of the men to some tall grass, where Rolo caught him and bit him several times. Deputies arrested Mikhail Ermolenko, 21, on charges including assault, eluding in a vehicle and resisting arrest. He was the driver, deputies said.

Another man escaped and has not been found. Witnesses told deputies he had little involvement in the fight.

The third man stayed in the car after it stopped in the field and was arrested. Igor Bogatko faces charges of assault, menacing and disorderly conduct.

No deputies or K-9s were hurt.
