KEIZER, Ore. - A youth sports park in Keizer appears to have become a regular spot for vandals looking to create some destruction.

The first time someone wrecked the Keizer Youth Association Sports complex at 5245 Ridge Drive Northeast was sometime between 6 p.m. on Sept. 28 and 6 a.m. on Sept. 29.

At that time a fence railing was torn down, portable restrooms were turned over, a dugout/storage area was damaged and picnic benches were thrown onto a field and broken into pieces.

On Oct. 11, vandals struck again. Most of the damage was the same, although this time vandals used a what appeared to be a hatched to completely destroy another dugout/storage area.

There has also been damage to a score box and concession stand booth in the past couple weeks.

The Keizer Youth Sports Association is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. They are also asking for donations to help cover the repair costs.
