Police: Missing man with mental health issues may be in danger

PORTLAND, Ore. – Police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing 22-year-old man who may be in danger.

Sydell Guerrero was last seen on Tuesday at a residential treatment facility in the near Southeast 74th Avenue and Division Street. He disappeared at around 7 p.m.

Sgt. Pete Simpson said Guerrero has “a variety of mental health issues that if left untreated could endanger his welfare.”

Guerrero is a black man who is 5’6’’ tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white jacket and blue jeans. He does not have a cellphone.

Anyone who sees Guerrero is asked to immediately call 911. Police say you should not to approach him if you see him.
