Shots fired during armed robbery at SE Portland bar

PORTLAND, Ore. – Shots were fired during an armed robbery at a bar in Southeast Portland Thursday night, police said.

An employee of Mr. Dealers Double Up Cafe told police that a man came into the bar at 12306 Southeast Powell Boulevard just before 9:30 p.m. The man demanded money, pulled out a handgun and fired several shots.

No one was hurt.

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

One of the bullets went through a glass door and another went into a business across the street.

Police officers and a police dog searched the area but couldn’t find a suspect.

Police only described him as wearing dark clothing.
