Woman armed with handgun robs SE Portland pipe shop

PORTLAND, Ore. – A woman robbed a Southeast Portland pipe shop at gunpoint Monday night, police said.

The suspect walked into Poppi’s Pipes at 3619 Southeast Division Street just after 8 p.m., according to Sgt. Pete Simpson. She pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded money.

The woman left the shop with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police searched the neighborhood but could not find the suspect. It’s unclear if she ran away or got into a car, Simpson said.

The suspect is a white woman in her mid-20s who is 5’6’’ tall with a thin build. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing something over her face, along with a green jacket and blue jeans, Simpson said.
