Airport shuttle van hits fire truck

VANCOUVER, Wash. - An airport shuttle van slammed into a fire engine on Interstate 205 early Friday morning.

The crash happened around 1 a.m. on I-205 northbound, north of 18th Street.

According to the Washington State Patrol, firefighters were out at the scene of a wreck when the driver of an airport shuttle van lost control, slid across the center lane and rammed into the fire truck, which was stopped with its emergency lights on.

No one was seriously hurt. The Washington State Patrol said the crash was caused by the driver of the shuttle van going too fast for the conditions.
