Photos: Swimsuits and gowns at Miss Universe
LAS VEGAS - Miss Universe contestants got all dressed up and then very dressed down Thursday as they showed off swimsuits and evening gowns for the judges during a taped segment.
Each of 83 contestants won their national competition to be able to take part in the international show.
The pageant was Aug. 23 at the Mandalay Bay casino in Las Vegas. Miss Mexico’s Jimena Navarrete, at 22 years old, was crowned as the new reigning Miss Universe.
