No charges against Pierce Brosnan for photographer scuffle
MALIBU, Calif. (AP) - Pierce Brosnan won't be charged for getting into a scuffle with a photographer last month in Malibu, authorities said Tuesday.
"There is insufficient evidence to prove this case to a jury beyond a reasonable doubt," prosecutor James Garrison said in declining to file a battery charge.
Brosnan spokeswoman Jennifer Allen said she had not heard about the decision.
The sheriff's department investigated after the ex-James Bond and former "Remington Steele" star got into a shoving match with a photographer Oct. 26 outside a Mexican restaurant.
Brosnan was not arrested.
