Event Description

Portland Opera brings an abridged version of Engelbert Humperdinck’s fairy tale opera “Hansel and Gretel” to the Hatfield Hall rotunda. This fun production is a musical retelling of the Grimm brothers’ story of two children who wander into a forest and are captured by a witch. Audience members learn about music and opera as they interact with the performers.

Suitable for all ages. This is a FREE event. Tickets are not required.

This show is part of PCPA Noontime Showcase, a series of free, monthly, noontime, public performances. Bring your lunch and enjoy a live show! Located in the Rotunda of Antoinette Hatfield Hall, Portland Center for the Performing Arts, 1111 SW Broadway, Portland.
