Friends of the Children is a revolutionary mentoring program that is transforming the lives of Portland's most vulnerable children. Friends of the Children provides kids with a nurturing and sustained relationship with a professional mentor who teaches positive values and has attainable expectations for each child to become healthy, productive members of society.
So where exactly are these donations being distributed to ? Are they going to benefit all kids in Portland or like certain areas, like in the past ? It seems like no one seems to remember there are kids on the east side of the river that continually get left out of many of these "donation drives". Portland is on both sides of the river but people don't seem to grasp that fact.
