On my recent annual father son trip to the Bitterroot Valley, I was smiled upon by the fish gods! This is a 22.5' brown trout taken on a dry fly just south of Hamilton Montana with Backdoor Outfitters. It has been a dream of my dad's, Jack Picard pictured with me, to catch a trophy brown on a fly forever so I thought I'd be the good son and let him share in my moment. Better luck to him next year!
