We rescntly returned from Odell Lake in the Cascades. The snow is melting and the Kokanee fishing is just getting going. The Mackinaw fishing, however, is in full swing with lots of them showing on the fish finder in the cold, shallower water about 80 to a hundred feet down. This one was about 24 pounds and landed twenty minutes into the trip. We brought it back to Shelter Cove Resort in the live well for a quick picture then released it to help make more Lakers.
