I took my five year-old son Ethan to the Fish Hatchery just outside of Sandy.  I put the worm on his hook and within 10 seconds he had his first fish on.  I didn’t even have time to explain the concept of reeling in, so when the fish was on, he started running up the hill screaming with excitement, pole still in hand…poor fish flopping behind. I took him to the bigger pond and he landed this 17” rainbow.  You can see the pride on his face, but what you can’t see is the pride on mine.
