VANCOUVER, Wash. - The men involved in the stolen car Craigslist sting on Thursday appeared in court Friday.

Gabriel Rayes, 21, was charged with theft, fraud and forgery.

Nickolas Mance, 19, faces the same charges, along with attempted murder for trying to run down a police detective during the sting.

Mance's elbow was bandaged after he was shot by police.

Both men are accused of fraud after they allegedly bought a man's truck with a fake bank check and then tried to immediately sell the vehicle on Craigslist.
