Linda Lewis, Tonya Harding's godmother, sent a short e-mail reply to KATU's Dan Tilkin about Tonya's condition.  The following is what she had to say:

"As for Tonya, she has been very ill, and has had pneumonia like symptoms. Her breathing capacity has plummeted again. She had seen the doctor for allergies and was prescribed medications which did not interact correctly. She has received the proper treatment and she is doing better. She thanks everyone for their concern, and hopes to be in better health very soon."
