Student with Down syndrome wins homecoming king
It's homecoming season, and that means schools across the country are crowning kings and queens. But as reporter Meredith Ley reports, one teeanger's big win in Georgia is inspiring classmates and a community.

We need more good news stories like this one. What an inspiration for all of us.
Why does this come as a shock? I have met many people with mental disabilities who were wonderful to be around. One kid I went to high school with could recite all of these baseball facts and stats. Everybody knew and liked him.
