I-5 wreck snarls the evening commute

PORTLAND, Ore. - A multi-vehicle crash closed all lanes of northbound Interstate 5 at Delta Park for about an hour and a half Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened just after 3:30 p.m., just as the evening rush hour commute was getting started. 

Although I-5 reopened just before 5 p.m., traffic remained clogged in the area and motorists heading north were being advised to take Interstate 84 eastbound to Interstate 205 northbound.

According to police, one person was transported to the hospital, but there did not appear to be any serious injuries involved.
