Police bust SE Portland meth lab, find guns
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Multnomah County deputies have busted a large methamphetamine lab in southeast Portland.
At the residence, investigators seized both finished methamphetamine and dozens of pounds of manufacturing chemicals, as well as two handguns and a rifle.
Two of the weapons had silencers.
Lieutenant Jason Gates says the resident, 55-year-old Ted Berardinelli, was booked at the county jail Thursday on charges that include manufacturing methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school.
