TROUTDALE, Ore. - The investigation into the murder of a popular salon shop owner in Gladstone led police to a home in Troutdale.

Susan Campbell is accused in the May 28 shooting death of beauty parlor owner Debbie Higbee-Benton.

Police say Campbell provided care for the mother of Higbee-Benton's life partner, Gladstone police Officer Lynne Benton.

The home that was raided belongs to Benton's sister.

Over the weekend, neighbors say a SWAT team showed up and then rammed the door to get inside.

"They had instructed everyone every few seconds to stay in their homes, stay away from the windows," said neighbor Kristy Curletto. "But even with windows shut, you could hear definite ramming of the door, which was heard throughout the neighborhood."

One neighbor said he heard a SWAT officer specifically call Officer Benton's name: Lynne.

It's not clear why they raided the home or what they seized, although neighbors said they brought things out in garbage bags.
