Man already behind bars faces new charges
VANCOUVER, Wash. - Two young teen girls say a man who is already behind bars gave then drugged beverages and tried to rape them.
A Washington County grand jury indicted 27-year-old Brandon Sullivan on charges of rape, sex abuse, strangulation and distribution of the drug ecstasy.
Sullivan was already in jail for unrelated outstanding drug charges and a probation violation when the new charges were added.
The new charges relate to an incident on Dec. 3.
The two girls, ages 14 and 15, say Sullivan invited them over to watch a movie.
They say he slipped ecstasy into their soft drinks, grabbed the 14-year-old and held her neck while forcing her to have sexual contact with him.
The two girls managed to escape a couple hours later and told police later that morning.
Sullivan could make his first court appearance Friday. His bail is set at more than $800,000.
