Two sent to hospital after semi vs Corvette crash on I-84
BOISE, Idaho - Emergency crews responded to a crash involving a semi truck and a Corvette Thursday night that sent two people to the hospital.

Idaho State Police say the crash happened just before 8 p.m. on eastbound I-84 about nine miles east of the Idaho-Oregon border.

Police tell KBOI 2 News that it appears both vehicles were traveling eastbound when the semi rear-ended the Corvette and forced it off the road, causing significant damage.

ISP says the Corvette was traveling slower than the posted speed limit at the time of the crash.

The two people in the Corvette, a man and a woman, were taken to St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise. They were treated and released.

The driver of the semi was not hurt.

ISP says it is still early in their investigation, and that more information will be released when it becomes available.
