Woman killed in semi vs. car crash

OREGON CITY, Ore. - A woman was killed Friday afternoon when her car ended up underneath a semi-truck on Highway 99E.

The crash happened where the highway intersects with South End Road, between Canby and Oregon City.

Preliminary information indicates the semi-truck was making a u-turn on the highway and pulled in front of a southbound passenger car.

Highway 99E was closed in both directions and was not expected to be reopened until late Friday evening.
