Police looking for travel agent they say scammed customers

WOODBURN, Ore. - A travel agent who police say scammed people into purchasing flights that he never actually booked is being sought in both Marion and Washington counties.

Salvador Rodriguez-Meza used to work for Costa Azul Travel in Woodburn but has since fled.  Police believe he conned customers into handing over cash payments for airline tickets and then took off with the money.

Not only is he wanted in Marion County but Rodriguez-Meza has an outstanding warrant for his arrest on theft charges out of Washington County.

If you have information on his whereabouts, call the Woodburn Police Department at (503) 982-2345 or your local police agency.
