PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Two Portland State basketball players, accused in an assault in Mexico, had their suspensions from the team lifted because of the lack of evidence in the case, the school said Friday.

Guard Jeremiah Dominguez and center Scott Morrison were suspended from the team after they were jailed in Mexico for an assault in Cabo San Lucas over spring break. They were later released.

The victim, 23-year-old Kyle Meagher of Michigan, suffered a badly broken jaw when he was hit in the face.

Meagher claimed he was trying to break up a scuffle when Morrison punched him.
