Bill Clinton to speak at Lincoln High School

Former President Bill Clinton campaigns for his wife, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., Thursday in Pennsylvania.

PORTLAND, Ore. - Former President Bill Clinton will make a campaign swing through Oregon on Friday and Saturday on his wife's behalf, with visits to North Bend on the coast as well as Monmouth, Oregon City and Portland scheduled thus far. 

It is his second visit to the state in recent weeks and comes after visits by his daughter, Chelsea, and his wife. Oregon's primary, which occurs May 20, has taken on new significance this year as Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. Hillary Clinton continue to battle for the Democratic nomination for president.

That could mean more visits from the candidates themselves and possibly even debates here.
