WARRENTON, Ore. (AP) - The U.S. Coast Guard said a man swam to safety after his boat capsized and sank near Warrenton.
Someone from a different boat called the Coast Guard early Sunday to report that the 30-foot fishing vessel Apache IV had capsized with one person aboard.
The man was not immediately identified. The Coast Guard said the boat was out of Aberdeen, Wash.
There are about 200 gallons of diesel fuel on the vessel, but no pollution has been spotted.
The Coast Guard is investigating.
