The Clark County Medical Examiners Office has released the names of the deceased in Friday night's fatal vehicle accident.

The single-vehicle accident occurred on June 27 around 10 p.m. as the vehicle headed south in 17700 block of N.E. 29th Ave in Ridgefield.

Both individuals killed in the accident were seated in the rear of the 1998 Honda Accord.

• Deceased: Broderick, Richard L, age 27, Vancouver WA
• Deceased: Dewey, Emily F, age 23, Vancouver, WA

The driver has been identified as: Gee, Travis B, age 28, of Vancouver, WA. The front seat passenger is identified as: Clement, Amber A, age 25, of Vancouver, WA.

Both Gee and Clement were transported by ambulance to the SWWMC with serious injuries. Their current condition is unknown.

The Clark County Sheriff's Office Traffic Unit will continue their investigation. It is believed that excessive speed and alcohol were factors in the accident. Criminal charges are pending the completion of the investigation.
