Man, 70, missing in rugged La Pine area

TUALATIN, Ore. (AP) - Police are hoping that the public can help them track down a Tualatin man who left home last week, and hasn't been heard from since.
A friend drove Eugene Dunn, 70, on June 25 to Central Oregon area and dropped him off, a police spokesman said. Dunn was last seen south of La Pine, in an isolated, rugged area. He was wearing a brown flannel overcoat, a white and blue flannel shirt, blue jeans, black tennis shoes and a brown cowboy hat. Dunn is described as white, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. The Lake County Sheriff's Office searched an extensive area over the next two days, to no avail.
