Man hospitalized following officer-involved shooting

Multiple police agencies were involved in a police shooting near the 19800 Block of NE 58th Street early this morning. 

Vancouver Police responded to a disturbance in the 20700 Block of SE Evergreen Hwy at approximately 0219 hours.   Subjects left the scene in a vehicle and it was advised an altercation was still ongoing. 

Camas Police got behind the vehicle and Vancouver units assisted with a traffic stop.  The vehicle did not respond to emergency lights and was followed to the 19800 Block of NE 58th Street.  The vehicle stopped and a confrontation ensued.

Officers from Camas Police, Vancouver Police, Clark County Sheriff's Office and WSP were involved.  The subject was taken to Southwest WA Medical Center.

Detectives from all agencies are on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
