WOODBURN, Ore. (AP) _ Investigators are trying to solve a double homicide that occurred in Woodburn.

The Marion County District Attorney's Office says police checking into a report of gunshots late Monday discovered three victims who were shot in or near a vehicle.

One man — 36-year-old Ernesto Benjamin Vasquez of Woodburn — died at the scene. The other victims were taken to OHSU Hospital in Portland.

Deputy District Attorney Courtland Geyer says 29-year-old Eduardo Solorio of Woodburn was later pronounced dead and 22-year-old Andrew Davis of Woodburn remained in stable condition late Tuesday afternoon.

Autopsies determined that Vasquez and Solorio died from gunshot wounds and the deaths were ruled homicides.

No arrests have been made.
