$300K bail for Keizer teacher's assistant accused of sex abuse
KEIZER, Ore. - A Keizer teacher's assistant appeared in court on Thursday following his arrest on sex abuse charges.
Jose Moreno is accused of inappropriately touching special needs students at Whiteaker Middle School, and at his home.
He was taken into custody on Wednesday and on Thursday, a judge set bail set at $300,000.
Police say they have identified three victims in the case and informed the childrens' parents about the accusations. The abuse allegedly happened over a couple of years.
Moreno was placed on administrative leave pending the results of the investigation.
Moreno previously taught at Clear Lake Elementary from March to June 2008 and was later re-hired in September of 2008 at Whiteaker Middle School.
I'm pretty sure the general population in prison will not treat this guy with any deal of kindness.

Bail so high......could it be that the Judge fears he may run for the border and I don't mean the Canadian Border.
If the charges are true, this scumbag should be put away for a long time in general population.
