GRESHAM, Ore. - The body of a Sam Barlow High School student was found in a Gresham-area home Tuesday morning, and investigators are treating the death as suspicious.
Gresham police identified the teen as 18-year-old Rachel Daggett of Damascus.
Police did not say who found her body at a home at 828 S.E. Phoebe Court and reported the discovery. Gresham Fire & Rescue crews responded about 9 a.m. and medical crews arrived and confirmed the death.
Because the cause of death was not apparent, police said, detectives were called to the scene.
An autopsy was scheduled for later Tuesday to confirm what killed her.
